The Silo Hotel
The idea for the five luxury resorts "The Royal Portfolio" was born out of personal happiness - owning a holiday home in the African bush. Liz and Phil Biden are behind the concept: Because they wanted to share their own wonderful experiences in the area, they opened accommodation for guests from all over the world. Under the motto "holidays accompanied by a family feeling", each of their hotels provides a combination of belonging and luxury. This is how the long-cherished dream of a luxury hotel in their home town of Cape Town came true: The Silo Hotel.

Rooms
Each of the twenty-eight rooms is individually designed. A mix of modern and industrial elements as well as bright colours, always in an opulent, sumptuous style, runs through all the rooms. From the Silo Rooms with around forty square metres to slightly larger suites (including family suites) and the Royal Suite with around one hundred and thirty square metres, the Silo Hotel offers a wide range of options. The Penthouse impresses with two hundred and eleven square metres and an outstanding view of Table Mountain. Extravagant window fronts with stunning views, free-standing bathtubs right by the window and spacious bathrooms - all in princely style - make this accommodation an exceptional residence.
Culinary
Whether in the private dining room, the Silo Rooftop or in the Granary Café with its partly African dishes made from seasonal and local ingredients - the meals are an experience in themselves. The Willaston Bar is an ode to the city: Handcrafted cocktails, classic drinks and a selection of local and international wines invite you to enjoy them in a cosy, stylish ambience. Located on the sixth floor, you can also enjoy a wonderful view here.
Activities
With five treatment rooms, the Silo Hotel has created a tranquil zone in which to relax. Traditional therapies and spa techniques pamper and nurture body and soul. This is supported by extensive training in the fitness area and a visit to the hotel's own sauna. Art is also very important here: The Silo Boutique presents African artworks, the existing museum rooms allow tours through the art of painting, smaller galleries as well as contemporary African works. There is also a colourful range of activities for families, children and couples. High above the rooftops of Cape Town is the impressive open-air pool. Enclosed by rustic pillars, it extends to the edge of the house and provides a breathtaking view and the feeling of "floating in the air".
Location
The five-star hotel is located not far from the city centre, on Cape Town's Table Bay. Here you have the hustle and bustle of the city, the Atlantic coast and Table Mountain all at your fingertips. With shopping tours, restaurant or bar visits, beach holidays, the impressive Victoria & Alfred Waterfront or hikes into the mountains, this area has a range of varied activities to offer.
