Safaris, houseboats and thundering waterfalls
Botswana and Zimbabwe trip
Botswana and Zimbabwe trip
This trip is all about the element of water: immerse yourself in the diversity of Botswana and experience safaris on land and water. The first few days are spent on a classic safari in an off-road vehicle or on the water in a mokoro. The journey then continues on a small houseboat on the Chobe River. Observe the animals from your cabin and take trips to the banks in the small tender boats to see which animals are drawn to the water. At night, you will be lulled to sleep by the gentle waves and the grunting of the hippos. At the end of the journey, the thundering waters of Victoria Falls await you - the harbingers of "the thundering smoke" can be seen and heard from afar

Your 10-day round trip could look like this
Welcome to the Bush
Welcome to Botswana. After arriving at Maun airport, you will head straight into the bush in one of the small bush hoppers. Enjoy the next few days in your lodge, going on game drives on land and on the water.
Cruising Chobe River
Today you continue with the small bushhopper - this time to Kasane airport. From here, you will be taken by land and boat to your accommodation for the next few days. The small houseboats travel leisurely back and forth along the Chobe River between their mooring points. Watch the hippos as you brush your teeth. The small tender boats bring you even closer. Enjoy the days on board.
Victoria Falls
Today you leave the small houseboat for your last stop. You return to Victoria Falls. Here you will spend the last two nights of your journey. A must here: of course a visit to the "thundering smoke" or Mosi-oa-Tunya as the Victoria Falls are called in the Kololo tribe. Enjoy a final sundowner cruise on the Zambezi, a last safari before the journey comes to an end here in Victoria Falls.
Farewell
Today it's time to say goodbye. You will be taken back to the airport and start your journey home. We wish you a safe flight and see you soon back in Africa.
